Avoidable bloodshed - chaos in the country
This page is dedicated to the fallen Marines in Afghanistan.
August 28th, 2021, Kabul Airport, Afghanistan. This day will go down in American History. A black day with preventable bloodshed. It could have been prevented. 13 service members were killed in a cowardly bombing raid. But many civilians also died. It was predicted but not taken seriously. The leadership in the United States has failed miserably. Joe Biden's speech was a slap in the face for the family members.
President Joe Biden praised the 'bravery and sacrifice' of the US military on Friday and called the 13 deaths 'tragic'. But he said they died for a 'worthy mission'. No, Joe, they are not. They died because of your bad strategy plan. But you don't want to admit that. It's always the other's fault. How much longer do you watch? You have been in office for 7 months and there is only chaos in the country. Afghanistan was just the culmination of your ineptitude. Your Allies are turning away from you.
The Dead Marines
According to the Pentagon, there were 11 Marines, a medic from the Navy Hospital, and an Army soldier. At least 18 other US soldiers were injured and at least 169 Afghans were also killed. The Afghan victims also included a news agency founder. British officials also said the dead included two citizens and the child of another citizen.
And those are the names of the service members killed. Young life extinguished. Biden's big speeches, what happened? Wasn't the White House promised that no blood would be shed? That Americans are in no danger. All lies and empty promises. The speech for the fallen was also a mockery. Joey, you surrendered to the Talibans instead of threatening to show them that we are not negotiating with terrorists. And now? An attack on IS. How many ISIS leaders did you kill? A single IS fighter and his companion who planned the attack. Applause, Joey, what a heroic move.

The Interview with the father of Kareem Nikoui
This blood sticks to Biden and his followers. We warned you. Other countries already knew what to expect if Biden would win. He's a shame on America. It would be best for him and Kamala to resign. This man is incapable of performing an official act. And here is another example that shows how incapable this administration is. So now one wants to distract from Biden's disaster.
Taliban climate reporting
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday that calls for President Joe Biden to step down because of his handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan were an inopportune time. When you consider the nation is still staggering from the suicide bombing that killed 13 US soldiers in Kabul.
What's next? Does he want to be celebrated as a hero on the 20th anniversary of the Al Qaeda attack on the Twin Towers? But many are already speculating whether one has to be prepared for another attack. At the moment there are protests by Afghan citizens in the USA. They fear for their relatives who are still there.
The upcoming “Stop the Killing of Afghans” protest this Saturday, August 28th, will be the largest to date - a globally coordinated rally in at least 34 cities around the world. The concerns of the participants include international support for the rights and security of women in Afghanistan. Better education, health, and infrastructure in the country. The protection of freedom of expression and freedom of the press as well as greater international and inter-Afghan solidarity.
Animals also have a right to live
This report generated a lot of negative comments. What I can not understand. Why do we save human lives but let animals suffer? They also have the right to live in security. Pen Farthing, the founder of an animal shelter in Afghanistan, did not want to leave the country without his animals. But his intention was also to bring his employees of the animal shelter to safety. But Biden's ineptitude and the bombing ruined that plan.
We are very happy to announce that Pen Farthing escaped Kabul with 200 cats and dogs. Unfortunately, he had to leave his Afghan staff behind, but this was the only way for him and the animals to get to safety. There was some confusion about how many animals were being let out when the Department of Defense press office announced that Pen had been let in with his 'pets'.
British soldiers helped load the animals onto a privately chartered plane last night as they prepared to return to the UK. The Ministry of Defense confirmed that the group 'was supported by the British armed forces through the system at Kabul airport'. Many thanks to Dominic Dyer, who worked tirelessly to organize the escape and raise awareness of the plight of Pen and the animals. Very sad that the Nowzad team couldn't get out either.
Mr. Farthing, A former Royal Marine, originally from Dovercourt, Essex, founded the Nowzad Animal Shelter in Kabul to rescue dogs, cats and donkeys after serving in Afghanistan in the mid-2000s. Since the Afghan government collapsed, Mr Farthing and his supporters have campaigned for his staff, their families, and 140 dogs and 60 cats to be evacuated from the country in a plan he called Operation Ark.
Farthing supporters would have 'consumed too much time with my senior commanders studying this issue if they were to focus on addressing the humanitarian crisis.' Dominic Dyer said on Twitter that his friend Mr. Farthing is now a 'national hero of great public standing.'
'He is one of the bravest and most dedicated people I have ever met and it has been an absolute privilege to work with others and fight and fight for him every step of the way.'
To me, this man is a hero. And no matter what many think of him. There is no right to place oneself above other living beings. An animal should have the same status as a human. Especially in times like these.
